Stuff. We all have too much of it. Have a look at the guide below, curated our pals at Less to help you find the mojo you need to refresh your home.
December is that interesting time of year, where even if your love language isn’t “gifts”, there is an unspoken, yet totally tangible pressure to express our love via presents.
Now, I could harp on you for gifting presence over presents, but let’s be honest- it wouldn’t really go over well if any of us were to show up at our Secret Santa swap empty handed. On another note- if I’m spilling the truth tea, we’re all adults (shocker). If there’s something we actually want within that $30 limit, we would probably just buy it. I don’t know about you, but I live in a glorified, although very-cute and minimalist-mid-century-esque, shoebox. Apartments are small and aint nobody got space for another mug.
This month, we're exploring all things creative: looking at the relationship between meditation + brainwaves + creativity, and hosting plenty of events to flex our creative muscles. To prep us, we interviewed some of our favourite artists around town to give us some insight about how creativity shows up for them. Today, we have Alexa Mazaarello, an incredibly talented photographer, storyteller, and the creator of Body Thoughts.
At MOMENT, we are interested in connections and the practical application of mindfulness. Today, we feature an interview we did with Marie-Therese, a graduate of Harvard & Oxford university with an interest in neuroscience, racial bias, and conflict resolution. She talks about the benefits & limitations of technology in overcoming racial bias. Together, we recognize a shared commonality in practice- whether it's the practice of meditation, or the practice of empathy.
